To Whom It May Concern: United Construction of Salida has completed installing a complete new roof made of Duro-Last Roofing material on our cafeteria building as well as replacing the down spouts. They are an excellent company with employees that are very precise in their work who know what they are doing. Waste was practically non-existent, care for the building and grounds was of first quality with special consideration to making sure that our students were not in any danger during their working time or when they were not present. Canon City Schools, United Construction has performed roofing installation for School District Fremont RE-1 since 1990. They have used the Duro-Last brand system, succeeding in a low bid process. Specifications typically require the membrane to be mechanically attached, over poyisocyanurate insulation. Roofs are required to drain, containing no ponds deeper than ¼ inch after 24 hours. United has met these conditions in an excellent manner. They have installed roofing while classes are in session, cooperating any way and every way possible to minimize disruptions. I have accompanied the factory inspector on acceptance walk thru inspections. Very few and very minimal items are ever noted by the inspector.
